Tutu skirts can put a new spin on Halloween. Tutus are no longer exclusively for the sweet and demure ballerina. They are quickly becoming a fashion trend that show a girl’s flirty carefree style. The tutu skirt has been featured many of the most imaginative Halloween costumes which are fun easy and inexpensive to create. If you love to design your own Halloween costumes and themes but have run out of ideas, the tutu skirt is sure to become one of your most valuable accessories. Use your imagination and create, masterpieces such as the misfit costume with the black faux leather jacket (Michael Jackson style), fingerless gloves, and of course the jazzy black tutu skirt, top it all off with a little extra eye-liner and black nail polish, and you’ll realize just why “girls just wanna have fun”.

Fashion a plume of faux peacock feathers to a wire hanger, taping off each end of the hanger for safety. Attach a large blue elastic band between the feathers onto the hanger with a knot. Putting one arm through each loop of the elastic band will hold your “showy” plume securely in place. Add a masquerade mask and “presto” you will have created a beautiful peacock costume. Accessorize like crazy, add your own flare and create designer originals! With tutu skirts the possibilities for reasonably priced yet amazing costumes are endless.
